The Awards Ceremony for MESA USA’s National Engineering Design Competition (NEDC), “Designing for Equity” will be live streamed today, 3-5PM Mountain Time. Designing for Equity means, “designing to minimize or eliminate barriers to opportunities for success”.
NEDC takes place at the University of Arizona and runs over the course of two days. Students will submit briefs, give technical presentations, participate in a poster session and pitch their prototype. As part of the competition, students will identify an individual or group that faces barriers and use a microprocessor as part of their design to engineer a solution to these barriers.
Rocky Mountain MESA is the local chapter of MESA USA, and is run through the Nexus. We at the Nexus wish good luck and congratulations to all of the student engineers!
