Supported technical leads of various renewable energy technologies regarding several projects with a focus on techno-economic evaluations.
Evaluated market viability of biofuels by conducting detailed techno-economic analysis and prepared results for the Department of Energy clients. Performed large solar array feasibility studies for rooftops and open land for the EPA.
Key Contributions:
– Performed large solar array (10kW – 10MW+) feasibility studies for rooftop and open land for the EPA and municipalities.
– Authored and co-authored several technical reports as a part technology evaluations and site feasibility studies.
– Developed and cultivated project tracking database to assist the DOE with managing biofuels projects and reporting on the industry’s technical progress.
– Improved Excel based models and enhanced efficiency at DOE geothermal power plant testing site by delivering technical expertise.

Key Project – Economic Development Project:
– Project managed the investigation of small-scale geothermal resources for local economies (four, rural, Western communities) in 2010.
– Contacted local communities with geothermal potential and fostered professional relationships. Prioritized sites as per community involvement and technical potential.
– Organized and contributed to the reporting on geothermal exploration and data gathering trips.

Oversaw end-to-end business functions, such as recruitment, engineering, sales strategy, process creation/implementation, accounting, as well as company registration both in the US and Uganda. Provided quality products to Northern Uganda by creating strategic alliances with key suppliers. Expanded company services into off-grid solar PV and solar pumping services. Steered the process of designing, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of all 30+ grid connected, solar pumping, and off-grid solar PV systems. Managed product procurement and transport logistics operations. Evaluated the financial model to provide accurate and clear projections to potential investors. Organized training sessions for franchisees on creating shops, managing inventory, and analyzing business models. Handled warranty claims/documentation process and customer returns as a result of technical faults.
