My research experience has been working within the Human Centered Robotics Lab for three years. My first project was designing a stir welding boiler repair gantry for the Department of Energy. On its completion I co-authored a paper entitled “AI-Enabled Robotic NDE for Structural Damage Assessment and Repair” within Materials Evaluation. Following this projects completion, I have now been working on a set of robots for classroom and research use called Tritons. They are being used to teach ROS/Linux and have been designed for use as a drone swarm.
I am most interested in internship/research or full time (this summer or spring 2023) pertaining to robotics and designing for manufacturing/assembly, though I love to sink my teeth into anything related to mechatronics. I will be available this summer, as well after I complete my degree in Fall 2023.
