The Solar Photochemistry Program at NREL—led by PI Garry Rumbles and 6 Key Investigators (Matt Beard, Jeff Blackburn, Justin Johnson, Elisa Miller, Nate Neale, and Jao van de Lagemaat)—is looking to revitalize as well as increase it’s diversity.

The program is currently exploring the idea of adding another Key Investigator and are soliciting applications for a 50% assignment to be a Key Investigator from NREL Research Scientists 2-5 and equivalent joint appointees.  Mines professors with joint appointments are eligible.

Being a Key Investigator within the NREL Program would be renewed every 3 years upon satisfactory performance within the program.

This research area supports molecular-level research on solar energy capture and conversion in the condensed phase and at interfaces. More information about the solar photochemistry program can be found here. Applications are due Friday, July 16th.
