NREL keeps the work on renewable energy and circular economy moving forward in their fourth annual Partner Forum, held February 4th. With it’s focus on “solutions to enable a circular economy for energy materials”, this forum was a powerhouse of industry collaborators, reimagining issues central to sustainability.

This progress towards a sustainable future is exciting for Nexus. Back in September 2018, Nexus started as an idea with it’s first workshop, Limits to Waste, a multi-day event between Mines and NREL. Scientists fortified their relationship and collaborating efforts around the biggest challenges of today and laid the groundwork for the Mines/NREL Nexus. The participants in this workshop continue to lead research on circular economy and energy issues as key participants in this February’s Partner Forum at NREL.
