It was announced this week that Rob Braun, Rowlinson Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines, has been named the new Director of the Advanced Energy Systems (AES) program. AES is a specific graduate degree program run through Mines and NREL, with a focus on doctoral and master’s level research for “advanced energy innovation and energy systems integration in government, academia, nonprofits, and the private sector”.
